When heavy duty makes sense
MotorTrend notes that lifts and bigger tires change geometry and add load on steering parts. A stock truck usually just needs correct replacement parts. A lifted truck on large tires may need stronger linkage, an adjustable track bar and a brace.
Check the claims
A "Made in USA" claim has to meet the FTC standard: all or virtually all made in the U.S. The FTC also has a labeling rule. A listing saying "assembled in USA" means something different.
